Clear information about how we pack, dispatch and deliver your Vinyl Warehouse order.
Before you order
Please note we are closed weekends and bank holidays. Any orders placed on these days will be dispatched on the next working day.
We kindly advise you not to book fitters or tradesmen until your goods have arrived and have been checked by you, as delays with delivery companies can occasionally occur.
Fast, tracked delivery as standard
Almost all orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 or a next working day courier, depending on the size and weight of your parcel.
Samples are sent separately by Royal Mail First Class. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Islands and other remote areas may take an additional working day.
How We Pack and Send Your Order
Packaging
All vinyl orders are rolled and securely packed in strong postal tubes or boxes depending on the size. We never fold your material.
Delivery Times and Methods
The majority of our orders are sent on the day or the day after payment has been received, Monday to Friday, depending on what time of day the order was placed.
Almost all orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 or next working day courier, depending on the size and weight of your order.
Samples are sent separately by Royal Mail First Class. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Islands and other remote areas may take an additional working day.
We will always try to send orders received by 2.30pm for next working day delivery where possible.
We aim to get most mainland UK orders to you within one to four working days after ordering.
We use Royal Mail Monday to Friday and DHL Monday to Thursday. Goods sent on Friday should usually reach you on Monday or Tuesday. Orders placed over the weekend will normally be sent out on Monday.
Collect from our Alton showroom
You can now collect your order from our showroom in Alton, Hampshire. Please call 01420 549499 to let us know when you would like to collect and use the "collect from Alton warehouse" option when ordering so you do not incur a carriage charge.
Do I Need to Be In or Sign?
Royal Mail
Royal Mail will generally require you to answer to accept the parcel if it does not fit through your letterbox.
If you are not in, they may leave it in a safe place or leave a card stating that you need to collect it from your local sorting office. Please remember to take the card with you.
Courier Deliveries
Couriers no longer require a signature but will usually take a photo to show where the parcel was delivered.
They have full track and trace facilities. If you provide your email address or mobile number when ordering, they should contact you with delivery information, depending on the courier. You may also be able to change the delivery method by replying to their email or text message. Orders may also be left with a neighbour.
Free Delivery
Free delivery on qualifying mainland UK orders
Free delivery is valid on UK mainland orders over the value of £99 including VAT.
Please note this will be on a standard service. If you require an upgraded, timed or Saturday delivery, charges will apply.
If an order is returned and brings the value of the order below the free delivery threshold, the original postage cost will be deducted from the refund. Please contact us for further details.
Free delivery does not include Ireland or the Highlands and Islands.
